Real Estate Investors
Real estate investors who are either passively or actively involved in their investments. Services include tax planning and compliance (Forms 1065 and Schedule E on Form 1040). Whether you already have a real estate empire or if you are just starting out, tax planning is essential for any real estate investor as there are many complex tax rules. Tax planning can revolve around investor versus developer status, real estate professional status, depreciation analysis, Section 199a, Section 1031, and short-term versus long-term rentals.

Highly Compensated Employees
Highly compensated employees are individuals earning over $200,000 per year or those with equity compensation. Services include tax strategy analysis and annual compliance (Form 1040). The tax strategy analysis includes reviewing your employer benefit options, retirement planning, and reviewing any equity compensation plans to ensure you are maximizing tax deductions and avoiding any surprises related to equity compensation.
Small Business Owners
Small business owners are entrepreneurs with businesses generating between $250K and $10 million in revenue. My services include tax strategy analysis, annual compliance filings (Forms 1065, 1120S, 1120, and Schedule C on Form 1040), S-Corp elections, and bookkeeping cleanup. Tax strategy analysis can include a review of your choice of entity, retirement planning, healthcare selection, review of available deductions and credits, and any other applicable income shifting strategies to ensure you are maximizing tax reduction.

High Net-Worth Individuals

Services provided include review of family structure, estate planning, tax compliance (Forms 1040, 1041, and 709s), and limited family office services. Proper estate planning can ensure tax efficiency, asset protection, wealth preservation, smooth asset transfer, control and flexibility, business continuity, and peace of mind. I can work with your financial advisors and attorneys to ensure your estate tax plan is also meeting other goals. The planning will include a review of your family structure, your current and future assets, and your current goals.

Philanthropists
Includes families with philanthropic goals who want to be tax efficient in the process of meeting those goals. Services provided here include custom charitable giving tax strategies and tax compliance (Forms 5227, Form 990-PF, and Form 990-T). When designing a strategy that best fits your goals, we will consider what assets you should give, when you should give, and how you should give. Such strategies could include charitable bunching, donor-advised funds, charitable trusts, or private foundations.
